Natural Cancer Support

While a diagnosis of cancer is often viewed as a death sentence, cancer doesn’t have to be a killer disease, not if you understand what causes it, and learn how to fight it by attacking it at its roots. It does not develop for some unknown reason. Once you understand why and how it develops, and learn how to change the internal environment in your body so that it becomes a place where health flourishes, not cancerous cells, you may may be able to beat it, no matter how far advanced.

Dan had been healthy all his life so when he started feeling bad he went to the hospital for tests. Where they found he had heart problems, and a large tumor growing in the lungs and another one on the heart. A short time before this he had started using an oxygenation product, 2 drops twice a day. He talked to someone who had been told half his face and one ear would have to be removed because of cancer. This man had started taking 17 drops of this oxygenation supplement 7 times a day. And never needed the surgery. Within a month the cancer was gone.

Cancer cells are always developing. They always have. The immune system evolved and developed components whose job it is to seek out and destroy cancer cells. Cancer has been around as long as mankind. Just that there is a lot more of it now because of the overload of toxins, pollutants, stress, bad food, you name it, just about everything in this society that wasn’t around 200 years ago leads to cancer.

Cancer tumors begin when more cancerous cells are being created than an overworked, depleted immune system can destroy. Constant exposure to tens of thousands of manmade chemicals from birth onward, electromagnetic radiation, pollution and other toxins, leads to the creation of excessive numbers of cancerous cells. Combine this increase with an immune system weakened by our modern diet of refined and over processed food, mineral depleted soils, overworked and depleted by high stress living conditions. What you get is a malfunctioning immune system that is not capable of destroying the excessive numbers of cancerous cells that develop. Some, sooner or later, survive and multiply. And you have cancer.

So there is really no such thing as a cure for a cancer. As it is a natural process. Just like there will never be a cure for digestive upset if you continually overeat, or from feeling lousy if you drink too much alcohol. What needs to be done is to interrupt this process so that your body becomes healthier and moves away from a cancer friendly internal environment. The more health you need, the more you may need to to do. So...

What you will be reading in this report isn’t about a cure for cancer. It isn’t medical advice. You can still do whatever your doctor may be telling you to do. So that you can take care of serious cancers of any type.

Change your body’s internal environment to one where cancer cannot thrive, and you greatly increase your chances of surviving. There are a few fundamentals that make a big difference in that internal environment, turning it towards health and away from cancer. They revolve around alkaline/acidity levels and oxygen levels in the body.

A common question people have when they read about the safe, simple, and highly effective ways to often get rid of cancer you will read about in this report is, “If these work so well, why doesn’t my doctor tell me about it?” In fact, a woman whose daughter is in the late stages of brain cancer asked her oncologist is it was OK to give her daughter a nutritional supplement. He said no problem, that in fact a number of his patients had used that supplement with success. Her question to me was why didn’t he tell us about this a year ago when we first came to him? And of course the answer is he could get into trouble by recommending natural, non-drug non-proven treatments for cancer. He is part of a huge medical industry that makes its money off expensive cancer fighting drugs and treatments, and inexpensive, natural supplements are not looked on with favor.

A hundred years from now the current cancer treatments used by doctors will on the whole be viewed in the same light that we view the old medical practice of using leeches to cure illnesses. It makes no sense at all to use chemotherapy and other treatments that damage cells and tear down and weaken the immune system, when the problem in the first place is that the immune system is too weak already. Even is the cancer cells are killed and the tumors go into remission, the therapy has damaged other cells which are more likely to turn cancerous and the immune system, unless it is supported by supplements and diet to help it to recover, is in worse shape than ever for fighting cancer. So that while it may have taken decades for cancer tumors to develop the first time around, the second time only takes a year or two.

Another way to looking at this issue of why doctors ignore sensible, safe and healthy treatments for cancer and recommend and use harmful, costly and illogical treatments is that it is human nature. That is what they are trained in. That is what they know. You go to them and you get what you ask for, what they know. However, that begs the question, as you are going to them, not for what they know, but to get rid of cancer. And you assume they will do the best they can for you, while in fact they just do what the system teaches them, promotes and allows them to do.

In a survey of 79 oncologists from McGill University Cancer Center in Canada, 64 said they would not consent to treatment with Cisplatin, a common chemotherapy drug, while 58 oncologists said they would reject all the current trials being carries out by their establishment. Doctors today are not too different than they were 150 or 200 years ago. Back then the common practice was for interns and doctors working on cadavers to walk down to deliver a baby without washing their hands. Many women died from the subsequent infections. Finally a doctor in charge of a clinic figured out what was happening, and had them wash their hands. The infections stopped. When he published his results, the medical profession was outraged. Good doctors could not be the cause of something like this. The doctor was ostracized and fired. He went elsewhere and repeated the experiment. Again, deaths dropped. Again he announced the results, and again the medical profession rose up against him. The end of the story was he lost everything, went insane from the tragedy of it all, and killed himself.

So don’t be expecting your doctor to be bucking the system. Just know that if you really want to do all you can to fight a cancer, you have to take charge yourself. Get in the driver’s seat, and even if you do chemotherapy and radiation therapy and whatever you doctor suggests, also use natural, safe and powerful supplements that can work on cancer in a way that makes sense. They will also help to counter the nasty side effects of the radiation and chemotherapy too. And if you have a little time before the surgeon wants to remove a vital organ, or half of your face or whatever, hit the supplements fast and heavy to see if you can get rid of the cancer or at least get it heading in the right direction so that surgery can be avoided.

Healthy Living Tips to Reduce Cancer Risk

While there are no guarantees that you will not contract cancer over your lifetime there are some healthy living tips that can reduce the risk. Scientists now believe that one third of cancers can be avoided by proper nutrition, a daily exercise program and maintaining a healthy weight. These three things will go on long way to reducing the risk. Research has shown that making even small changes to your lifestyle will make a significant difference in the quality of life for many years and decades to come. So let us look at some of the things that we can do.

STAY LEAN

It is believed that maintaining a healthy weight is the most important thing you can do next to not smoking. It is suggested that people try to maintain their Body Mass Index (BMI) at the lower end of their range.

Evidence suggests that excess fat is a risk factor for at least six different types of cancer. These would be colon cancer, post menopausal, breast cancer, esophageal cancer, kidney cancer, pancreatic cancer and endometrial cancer. Body fat is also beginning to be linked to an increased risk of gallbladder cancer as well.

EXERCISE

We all know that a regular exercise program is not only good for heart health but for overall health in general. It can also reduce the risk of many forms of cancer. The added benefit here is that it will also help you to control weight.

It is recommended that you exercise at least one half hour per day and increase that to one hour as your fitness level improves. If you do not presently have an exercise program take a few minutes to think about what you enjoy doing. This will help you continue the program for the long run.

DIET

Diet is very important to lowering your cancer risk. Limit or avoid foods that are high in fats and added sugars in low in fiber. These are the types of foods that can cause us to be overweight and obese which is one of the major risk factors for developing cancer. Stay away from fast and processed foods as much as you can.

Incorporate fresh fruits, whole grains, vegetables and beans into your diet as much as possible. Try to eat five servings of these plant based food each day. Diets that contain a high amount of these high fibre foods will reduce the risk of cancer as well as help you maintain a healthy weight.

There is strong evidence that links red meat to the incidence of colorectal cancer. This is one of the more common forms of cancer in the United States. It is suggested that you try to limit the consumption of red meats (beef, pork and lamb) to a maximum of 18 ounces per week. In addition processed meats such as bacon, ham, cold cuts and sausages should be reserved for special occasions or holidays.

There is convincing evidence that alcohol consumption can cause a number of different cancers. Reducing the amount you drink can reduce the risk of developing these types of cancers. For men it is suggested that you have no more than two drinks per day and for women one drink each day.

Limit the amount of salty foods that you eat. Many processed foods are high in sodium and this is just one more reason to avoid them. We know that high salt intake will increase the risk of developing high blood pressure but many do not realize that it can also increase the risk of stomach cancer.

Mothers are advised to breast feed for the first six months and then gradually add other liquids and foods. Our cancer risk is affected by the things that we do throughout of lives so it is never too early to be thinking about prevention. This also has a twofold benefit. By breastfeeding you are reducing the chance that the infant will become overweight or obese and it has been shown to reduce the risk of the mother developing breast cancer

The Basics of Cancer

Just as we couldn’t live on Mars without oxygen, research shows that cancer can’t exist in cells when there is enough oxygen or when the pH is where it is supposed to be. Not overly acidic. Unfortunately, all too often our cells are low in oxygen and acidic. They go together. Fortunately you can oxygenate and alkalinize cells so that cancer can’t develop or survive. Doing this in conjunction with boosting the immune system may strengthen the body and weaken the cancer to the point that cancer cells no longer are multiplying faster than the immune system can destroy them, and eventually you regain health as the cancer goes into remission.

There are numerous stories of people naturally recovering from cancer. In all sorts of different ways. There are also lots of people who try many different avenues in dealing with their cancer, and still die. The trick is to find what is the most effective support for the body. That deals with the fundamental issues in the best possible ways. So that you have the best chance of surviving.

The general take on cancer is that it is a dread disease only a lucky few survive. Something that sort of just happens to you. And that there wasn’t much to do about it if the cancer was too far along. Then cracks began to appear in that way of thinking. There was a chiropractor who on an audio tape told a couple of stories of people with inoperable lung cancer taking high doses of proanthocyandins (antioxidants found in grape seed extract and other plants) and of the tumors going away. Or someone taking handfuls of a particular blue green algae and getting over their brain tumor.

Carcinogens, toxins, free radical damage and other cancer causing agents, may actually be, in a sense, secondary causes of cancer. An underlying cause of all cancers was discovered by the renowned scientist Otto Warburg years ago. He actually won two Nobel Prizes for discovering the clues to why cancer develops. His continued research, and the research of a few other cancer investigators, back up his contention. Cancer is connected to...

Cellular Oxygen Levels

The underlying cause of cancer may be low cellular oxygenation levels, which in newly formed cells, damages their cellular respiration enzymes which can cause them to become cancerous.

In 1931 Dr. Warburg won his first Nobel Prize for work proving cancer is caused by a lack of oxygen respiration in cells. He stated in an article titled The Prime Cause and Prevention of Cancer that “the cause of cancer is no longer a mystery, we know it occurs whenever any cell is denied 60% of its oxygen requirements.”

“Cancer, above all other diseases, has countless secondary causes. But, even for cancer, there is only one prime cause. Summarized in a few words, the prime cause of cancer is the replacement of the respiration of oxygen in normal body cells by a fermentation of sugar. All normal body cells meet their energy needs by respiration of oxygen, whereas cancer cells meet their energy needs in great part by fermentation. All normal body cells are thus obligate aerobes, whereas all cancer cells are partial anaerobes.”

Some causes of poor oxygenation include a buildup of carcinogens and other toxins within and around cells, which blocks and then damages the cellular oxygen respiration mechanism. Clumping up of red blood cells slows down the bloodstream and restricts flow into capillaries. Which also causes poor oxygenation. Even lack of the proper building blocks for cell walls, essential fatty acids, restricts oxygen exchange.

What Warburg and other scientists found in their research was that the respiratory enzymes in cells, used to make energy aerobically, die when cellular oxygen levels drop. When this happens, the cell can no longer produce energy aerobically. So, if the cell is to live, it must, at least partially, ferment sugars, producing energy anaerobically. According to Warburg, cells that produce energy by fermenting sugars may turn cancerous. Warburg’s contention is this...

Cells must switch to producing energy anaerobically because low oxygen levels have lead to the death of the respiratory enzymes needed to produce energy aerobically. When this happens, the cells cannot produce enough energy to maintain their ability to function properly. So they lose their ability to do whatever they need to do in the body. Fermentation allows these cells to survive, but they can no longer perform any functions in the body or communicate effectively with the body. Consequently, these cells only multiply and grow. And may become cancerous. Or perhaps it would be more accurate to say, they become cancer cells in order to survive.

Decades ago, two researchers at the National Cancer Institute, Dean Burn and Mark Woods, (Dean actually translated some of Warburg’s speeches.) conducted a series of experiments where they measured the fermentation rate of cancers that grew at different speeds. What they found supported Dr. Warburg’s theory. The cancers with the highest growth rates had the highest fermentation rates. The slower a cancer grew, the less it used fermentation to produce energy.

Naturally Warburg’s contention was challenged and tested by other scientists.

There were some researchers who claimed that this theory was not valid because they had measured a particularly slow growing cancer, and found no fermentation at all. And if cancer could grow with no fermentation, then fermentation, or lack of oxygen respiration, was not the cause of cancer. Dean Burn and Mark Woods checked those results. Using more sophisticated equipment, they determined that the equipment these researchers used to measure fermentation levels was not accurate enough to detect fermentation at low levels. Their testing, using newer and more accurate equipment, showed that even in those very slow growing cancer cells, fermentation was still taking place, at very low levels.

This was also confirmed by Pietro Gullino, also at the National Cancer Institute, who devised a test which showed that this slow growing cancer always produced fermentation lactic acid. Silvio Fiala, a biochemist from the University of Southern California, also confirmed that this slow growing cancer produced lactic acid, and that its oxygen respiration was reduced.

This theory makes sense. It also explains why there is never cancer of the heart. There are brain cancers, bladder cancers, cancers of every organ in the body. But have you ever heard of heart cancer? There wouldn’t be, not it this theory is correct. (There can be a cancer growing on the heart, but not in it.)

That’s because the body will not allow heart cells to produce energy anaerobically. Here’s why. When you are working, or working out, and your muscles start to ache with pain, they have switched to temporarily producing energy anaerobically as they can’t get enough oxygen. This creates a lactic acid buildup which eventually shuts down the muscle by causing pain.

If this were to take place in the heart when it was working hard, lactic acid would build up in the heart. Which would shut down the heart, as if you were having a heart attack, and you die. To prevent this, the body doesn’t allow heart muscles to produce energy through anaerobic fermentation. Heart cells just stop working when they can’t produce energy using oxygen. Consequently, they don’t get cancer because their cells cannot product energy through fermentation. Which means that they can’t lose their functionality and grow in an uncontrolled manner, turning into cancer. In a sense, they do lose functionality when they stop working, but in this case they can’t do anything, so they can’t turn into cancer cells.

Further research into Warburg’s theory showed that when oxygen levels were turned down, cells began to produce energy anaerobically, and ultimately became cancerous when levels went low enough. It took a reduction of 35% in oxygen levels for this to happen.

J.B. Kizer, a biochemist and physicist at Gungnir Research in Portsmith, Ohio explains, “Since Warburg's discovery, this difference in respiration has remained the most fundamental (and some say, only) physiological difference consistently found between normal and cancer cells. Using cell culture studies, I decided to examine the differential responses of normal and cancer cells to changes in the oxygen environment.

"The results that I found were rather remarkable. I found that... "High 02 tensions were lethal to cancer tissue, 95 percent being very toxic, whereas in general, normal tissues were not harmed by high oxygen tensions. Indeed, some normal tissues were found to require high 02 tensions. It does seem to demonstrate the possibility that if the 02 tensions in cancer tissues can be elevated, then the cancer tissue may be able to be killed selectively, as it seems that the cancer cells are incapable of handling the 02 in a high 02 environment."

So what happens to cause cancer seems to be as follows. Some cells in the body become poorly oxygenated from too many toxins, not enough essential fatty acids, and anything else that causes too little oxygen to get into cells. When newly formed cells suffer a 35% or more decrease in oxygen, their respiratory enzymes become permanently damaged. In order to survive, those cells must switch to using fermentation to produce energy. If this low oxygen state continues through several cellular life cycles, this de-evolves them to a more plant like cell which is cancerous. Cancer cells produce excess lactic acid as they ferment energy. This is toxic and helps to prevent the transport of oxygen into neighboring normal cells. And over time as these cells replicate, the cancer may spread if they are not destroyed by the immune system. And when the immune system cannot kill these cancerous cells faster than they develop, you get cancer.

Chemotherapy and radiation are used because cancer cells are weaker than normal cells and therefore may die first. However, the chemo and radiation damages the respiratory enzymes of normal cells and overloads them with toxins, so they are more likely to develop into cancer. The underlying cancer causing conditions are worsened, not improved. And the cancer often returns much more quickly the second time unless you make changes to support the health of your body.

By the way, there are scientists and others who deny that Warburg’s theory is valid because of the original inaccurate measurement of the amount of fermentation in slow growing cancer. In fact, I went to Quack watch and read an article from a scientist claiming there was no research at all supporting Warburg’s theory. So much for bad science. It is only good for supporting the medical industry.

Probably the main implication of this research is that an effective way to support the body’s fight against cancer would be to get as much oxygen as you can into the cells. Raising the oxygen levels of the still normal cells would help prevent them from becoming cancerous. And according to one of those research studies, increasing oxygen levels in cancer cells would help kill those cells.

A nurse who works in medical research said, “It’s so simple. I don’t know why I never thought of it before. When we’re working with cell cultures in the lab, if we want the cells to mutate, we turn down the oxygen. To stop them, we turn the oxygen back up.”

If you remember, according to Warburg, it is increased amounts of carcinogens, toxicity and pollution that causes cells to become so toxic they can’t uptake oxygen efficiently. Acidity and Alkalinity

There is plenty of research showing that cancer thrives in an acidic environment, and doesn’t do well in a more alkaline environment. Cancer cells produce lactic acid as a byproduct of fermentation, which makes them highly acidic. Thus, making the body more alkaline would be of benefit in fighting cancer.

Unfortunately...
The majority of the foods and drinks we consume are acidic, with colas and other soft drinks being highly acidic. So unless you are eating a special diet, your body is way too acidic. And is a very good environment for cancer to thrive in.

According to Keiichi Morishita in his book, Hidden Truth of Cancer, if blood starts to become acidic, then the body deposits the excess acidic substances in cells so that the blood will be able to maintain a slightly alkaline condition. This causes those cells to become more acidic and toxic, and causes a decrease in their oxygen levels.

Over time, he theorizes, these cells increase in acidity and some die. These dead cells themselves turn into acids. However, some of these acidified cells may adapt in that environment. In other words, instead of dying - as normal cells do in an acid environment - some cells survive by becoming abnormal cells. These abnormal cells are called malignant cells. Malignant cells do not correspond with brain function nor with our own DNA memory code. Therefore, malignant cells grow indefinitely and without order. This is cancer.

As you can see, what he seems to be describing, though from a different point of view, is the process by which low oxygen levels turns some cells cancerous. It is interesting to note the connections here. Alkaline water (including the water in cells) can hold a lot of oxygen. Acidic water (or cells) can hold very little oxygen. So the more acidic your cells are, the less oxygenated they will be. And the process of producing energy through fermentation, which cancer cells use, produces lactic acid, further increasing the acidity of the cells.

Sang Whang, in his book Reverse Aging, points out that toxins are acidic. If the blood is already too acidic, the body must take the toxins out of the blood and deposit them in cells, to keep the blood the right pH. And it cannot release toxins into the blood to detoxify the cells, when the blood is too acidic. All of which helps to cause acidic, poorly oxygenated cells which may, at some point, from excess acidity and lack of oxygen, turn cancerous.

By the way, it is not easy to get additional oxygen into cells. Most approaches don’t work well. Breathing oxygen is still limited by the amount of hemoglobin and acidity. And Dr. Whittaker points out, quite rightly, that liquid oxygen supplements can’t get oxygen into the cells. He explains that a delivery mechanism is needed to get the oxygen into the cells. And though the typical oxygen supplement gets oxygen into the stomach or the blood, that doesn’t mean it gets into the cells.

Boosting the Immune System to Better Fight Cancer

The other aspect of dealing with cancer is supporting the immune system. After all, for most of your life the immune system has successfully dealt with cancer cells. Usually it becomes worn out and ineffective and unable to deal with the cancer cells before cancer takes hold and thrives.

So it may be quite important to strengthen the immune system so that it can better fight cancer. Especially if you are getting medical treatments that wipe out the immune system, and make the body more acidic to boot.

Some natural supplements are better than others at supporting the immune system and creating health in the body. Any can support the body’s fight against cancer, however the trick is the use the ones that may help the most. And the other concern, if you have cancer, is to take make sure you take enough of them. Generally 5 to 10 times the normal supplemental amounts seem to work best for food based supplements.

Along with boosting the immune system, there are supplements that kill cancer cells, causing them to self-destruct, or helping to shut off blood supply to them. And antioxidants have also been shown to be important for fighting cancer. There is, in fact, a well-established theory that free radicals damage cells and cause them to become cancerous. And it could well be that free radicals damage the mitochondria and contribute to poor oxygenation in cells.

There is another aspect of cancer you can target in a comprehensive program to get rid of cancer. It has to do with enzymes, or rather the lack of them. And we are not referring to respiratory enzymes only.

Low Enzymes Levels in Cancer

Researchers have noted for years a correspondence between low enzyme levels and cancer. In fact enzyme therapy has been used with good results against cancers in Europe, and by some doctors in the United States. Enzymes are the life force in your body. Everything that happens in your body requires enzymes to make it happen.

The reason why metabolic enzyme levels in the become depleted, and what to do about it, is fairly simple. First, the major reason why enzymes get depleted is that we eat mostly processed, irradiated and cooked food. The digestive system was designed to process raw food. Raw food, when it is picked ripe, has enzymes in it that help break down that food in the upper stomach where it sits for 30 to 45 minutes. Predigesting. Using the enzymes in the food to predigest the food. Then it travels on down to the lower stomach where the pancreas excretes mores enzymes and acids to completely break down that food.

When you eat cooked, irradiated and processed foods where the enzymes have been killed, the food does not predigest in the upper stomach. So when it reaches the lower stomach two things happen. The pancreas must make extra enzymes to try and break down the food in the lower stomach. And food often makes its way through the digestive process only partially digested.

The pancreas, after decades of overworking, eventually is no longer able to produce an adequate supply of enzymes. It is responsible for making all the enzymes in the body. Enzymes whose low levels allow cancer to develop. Digestive enzymes have priority over metabolic enzymes.

So as pancreatic production decreases, the metabolic enzymes get shortchanged, and you develop low enzyme levels in your body. In addition, food that is not completely digested all too often makes its way into the bloodstream. It is not in the proper form to be absorbed by the cells. So it is treated as a toxin, and the immune system has to get rid of it. This puts an addition strain on the already overworked immune system, which is trying to deal with all the chemicals and other environmental contaminants entering the body. Further tipping the body in the direction of ill health. Studies have found that the immune system treats the ingestion of cooked animal protein as a highly toxic poison when it gets to the bloodstream, with a huge jump in white blood cells in an attempt to get rid of it as fast as possible. It is not that the animal protein is a poison to us, it is that incompletely digested animal protein is.

What you can do to help remedy this process is twofold. By taking a good quality enzyme supplement with meals, one that has high levels of protease to digest protein, lipase to digest fat, amylase to digest carbohydrates and some of the other food digesting enzymes, you can again start breaking down food in the upper stomach. So that the pancreas doesn’t have to produce extra enzymes to try and digest the food when it reaches the lower stomach. And so the food gets more completely digested.

The second thing you can do is to take these enzymes between meals or on an empty stomach at the end of the day. A stack of research shows that enzymes, when taken in this manner, will go into the bloodstream and clean it up. I have heard of people taking massive amounts of enzymes in this manner when they are on chemotherapy. It kept their blood in excellent shape and reduced symptoms.

Two other things this will do. One is that a good quality enzyme will unstick clumpy red blood cells. Sticky, clumped up red blood cell clusters slow down blood flow, and clog up capillaries. So that cells cannot be oxygenated properly. Which as you have gathered by now, may contribute to cancer.

And even more value in helping to get rid of a cancer tumor, is this. From what I have read, cancer tumors produce a thick fibrin protein to help protect themselves from the immune system. It also helps to stick the cancer tumor to wherever it is. Use of digestive enzymes between meals and on an empty stomach can get them into the body where they may be able to digest and dissolve the fibrin coating. Large amounts of enzymes would need to be taken and they would need to be enzymes high in protease to break down the protein.

In addition, digestive enzymes will help you digest protein better, which could help in surviving cancer as one of the causes of death in cancer is starvation when the body inhibits protein synthesis in a futile attempt to deal with terminal cancer. The better you digest your protein, the more that can be used.
